What are you going to do?

As Contracts Engineer, you are responsible for managing and administrating all main contract activities on Projects. You work closely with the Project Team and other departments and interfaces as required.

Furthermore as Contracts Engineer, you are responsible for:

Managing and administrating all related subcontracting activities on various Projects in a timely, quality focused and budget driven way in accordance with the Company Management System (CMS)
Contribute to subcontracting strategies
Prepare subcontracting strategies in line with the project objectives
Be the Lead contracts engineer on projects.
Preparation of invitations to tender through evaluation of tender proposals and final contract award and subsequent contract administration through to close-out
Evaluate and negotiate commercial and contractual matters, and co-ordination of technical evaluation of the received tenders.
Organize and lead tender clarification meetings, tender board meetings, kick-off and commercial meetings.

Qualifications

You are the Contracts Engineer with a professional level of attention to detail and a demonstrable commercial awareness.

Furthermore, you will have:

a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in either Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Legal, Commerce, Business, Supply Chain Management or equivalent
1-5 years’ experience in a contracting environment within the construction, engineering, oil & gas industries, preferably gained internationally
experience with management of a team of contractors is a plus
knowledgeable experience in major re-measurable and lump sum EPC(IC) contracts
a proactive approach to the role and be able to demonstrate added value at all times
excellent command of English, both verbally as well as in writing
the willingness to travel on short-term overseas business trips, as well as longer-term assignments

Voor loondienstverbanden bij Selectum vormt de ABU CAO en de toepassing van de inlenersbeloning (aan de hand van de arbeidsvoorwaarden van de klant) de basis Voor het pakket dat wij je kunnen bieden. Dit pakket is altijd marktconform.
Wanneer een specifieke opdracht kan worden uitgevoerd door een ZZP-er, spreken wij een tarief af voor het zelfstandig uitvoeren van deze opdracht bij onze opdrachtgever. Hiervoor moet zowel de klant, de opdracht als de ZZP-er aan verschillende voorwaarden voldoen.
In een aantal gevallen is onze klant op zoek naar een kandidaat voor de uitbreiding van haar eigen organisatie. In die gevallen wordt de arbeidsovereenkomst aangegaan met onze klant en zo ook de uiteindelijke arbeidsvoorwaarden (rechtstreeks) afgestemd.
