Wat ga je doen?
To support the project of our client, we are looking for an experienced piping material engineer who can prepare material and valve specifications, but also do reviews and discipline checks for piping deliverables.
In general your responsibilities include:
- Developing basic and detailed designs for (process) piping
- Preparing specifications for piping materials, valves, and special items
- Engaging with vendors and reviewing technical documentation
- Participating in HAZID sessions and supporting client and third-party approvals
- Reviewing fabrication and construction drawings and addressing site queries
- Identifying technical risks
Functie-eisen
- Bachelor’s degree or Technical College in Mechanical Engineering.
- About 8 years of relevant experience in piping materials engineering.
- Knowledge of piping materials, piping equipment, pipe stress and affinity with piping design.
- Knowledge of relevant international design codes and standards.
- Proficient in English, verbally as well as in writing.
- You have experience with piping materials engineering in basic and detailed phase of a project.
