The corporate Quality is centrally and independently organized and included in the HSEQ department. Quality Control of company’s own work and that of the vendors and subcontractors is organized and executed by the different divisions and departments which are also responsible to execute this work.
The QC Auditor will coordinate and act as a corporate (independent) focal point for monitoring the effectiveness and accuracy of the specific discipline quality control procedures and principles. The QC Auditor also supports the correct execution of these procedures and principles within the relevant departments. Possible underperformance with regard to these procedures is corporately reported to the responsible person of the specific department.
The position
By requesting and co-ordinating specific checks, (spot check) audits or other means, the QC Auditor provides a health status of the quality control within the company. The QC Auditor also provides expert advice to achieve improvements in areas that are lacking.
For this role, we are looking for a ‘self-starting’, strong personality who is able to handle objections and resistance.
Main Responsibilities
- Initiate, Coordinate and Support QC Verification audits.
- As part of the HSEQ department, you will report on QC performance within the various departments (i.e. translate the outcome of the audits in performance and quality metrics).
- Investigate and evaluate internal controls and compliance mechanisms for adequacy and effectiveness.
- Recommend practical and sustainable improvements to strengthen internal controls and compliance mechanisms.
- Provide expert advice on optimization of critical business processes.
- Monitor implementation of corrective actions and process improvements.

Requirements
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s in Engineering, Business Administration or technical discipline or equivalent in work experience.
- 5 years of experience in internal audit and process improvement. Experience in Quality Control is a plus.
- Experience in EPCI projects, offshore operations, or energy sector environments preferred.
- Familiarity with project management processes is a plus.
Technical Competencies
- Experienced with internal control frameworks (e.g. ISO standards).
- Proficiency in process design/mapping and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Ability to interpret and analyze operational and technical data.
- Excellent written reporting and data visualization skills.
