As a Project Manger Piping you are responsible and accountable for the discipline construction contract: reporting, progress, planning and follow-up.You are a great Manager for your team!
You will be managing different contractors on site with regard to technical and engineering aspects.
Reports in detail to / coordinates with Engineering and Construction Manager.
Reports in detail to / coordinates with QA/QC.
Reports in detail to / coordinates with colleague Discipline Project Managers.
Is supported by the C&P Manager for contractual issues.
Provides input for the weekly/monthly reporting.
Issues all official project reports required by owner and business partners.
Highlights risks and mitigations plans.
Enables key decisions through information and transparency.
Safeguards compliance with quality and safety in design plans and takes remediating action as needed.
Manages engineering productivity and progress, addresses technical queries.
Manages the relationship with the contractor at all levels and is the single point of contact for the contractor.
Reviews technical drawings and documents to ensure integrity and identifies optimization/value engineering opportunities.
Participates in on-site reviews and technical problem solving.
Maintains confidentiality around sensitive information and terms of agreement.
Witnesses Factory Acceptance Tests appropriate.
Make sure that you have an in-depth/intimate knowledge of the contract and the reserved matters.
Overview all correspondence, letters and claims and take the lead in the follow-up.
Be aware of the project complexity – “financed project”.
Zero-tolerance with regard to HSE.
Operate in accordance with the four eyes principle.
Make sure your input in the weekly/monthly reporting is accurate and
in time Inform and collaborate with your colleague Discipline Project Managers.
Review technical drawings and documents via DCC.
Read the Code of Conduct and act accordingly.
Bachelor degree (Mechanical or Structurall Engineering).
At least 5 years Project Management (greenfield) experience.
Languages: Dutch and English is a must.

Presence at the meetings as scheduled.
