Our client aims to make a significant contribution to the energy transition by reducing CO₂ emissions for the hard-to-abate industries. It will do this by offering a decarbonisation solution for the industrial sectors by enabling the transport of CO₂ to depleted offshore gas fields under the North Sea.
Wat ga je doen?
The role covers a broad set of project engineering, tendering, and interface responsibilities, with CO2 specification coordination being one of the key work areas.
The role will involve supporting our client’s project delivery team with managing the CO2 specification team, preparation and coordination of contracts, supporting interface management processes, and ensuring
alignment across technical workstreams. This broader role combines organizational, commercial, and technical coordination responsibilities to drive efficient project delivery in a complex multi‑partner environment and
offers opportunities to learn and grow in a pioneering energy transition project.
Project Engineering
- Develop and maintain project plans, budgets and timelines for allocated packages
- Organize and lead meetings with experts, partners, stakeholders
- Act as a key link between technical specialists, research teams, and external stakeholders.
- Manage Risks and Issues, identify potential risks related technical delivery and schedule; propose mitigation actions.
- Coordinate and prepare documentation for technical assurance activities
- Works in accordance with the project applicable HSE standards and procedures
Tendering and contracting
- Support preparation of contract packages (scope of work, technical requirements, evaluation criteria)
- Manage small contracts, such as contracts for laboratory services
Interfaces and Stakeholder Management
- Manage Interfaces between contracts and parties, coordinate exchanges between internal and external stakeholders.
- Prepare clear progress reports, decision logs, and summaries for governance boards.
Functie-eisen
- Ability to plan and coordinate projects in a technical environment.
- Experience with project management methodologies
- Familiarity with procurement processes and experience with management of contracts
- Strong organizational, influencing and communication skills to manage multiple workstreams, experts, and stakeholders.
- Comfortable working in multidisciplinary teams and building consensus.
- Analytical and problem-solving mindset
- Comfortable working in a dynamic environment and able to adapt quickly to changes while maintaining focus on objectives.
- Ability to prioritize competing demands across contracting, engineering and assurance tasks.
- Proficiency in English for effective communication
- Additional skills that are useful (advantage but not required):
- Familiarity with project management of Research and Development activities
- Understanding of CCS technologies and related standards.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents, in particular related to pipeline design and corrosion engineering
- Experience with operations of pipeline transport systems

Voor loondienstverbanden bij Selectum vormt de ABU CAO en de toepassing van de inlenersbeloning (aan de hand van de arbeidsvoorwaarden van de klant) de basis Voor het pakket dat wij je kunnen bieden. Dit pakket is altijd marktconform.
- Wanneer een specifieke opdracht kan worden uitgevoerd door een ZZP-er, spreken wij een tarief af voor het zelfstandig uitvoeren van deze opdracht bij onze opdrachtgever. Hiervoor moet zowel de klant, de opdracht als de ZZP-er aan verschillende voorwaarden voldoen.
- In een aantal gevallen is onze klant op zoek naar een kandidaat voor de uitbreiding van haar eigen organisatie. In die gevallen wordt de arbeidsovereenkomst aangegaan met onze klant en zo ook de uiteindelijke arbeidsvoorwaarden (rechtstreeks) afgestemd.
