Wat ga je doen?
As a Planner / Scheduler, you are responsible for planning and scheduling project activities throughout all project phases: Concept, Engineering, Construction, Commissioning, Qualification, and Validation. You report to the Lead Planner Scheduler and carry out your work in accordance with established plans and priorities.
You work closely with project teams to ensure the quality of schedules and provide support in risk identification, progress monitoring, and capacity-related matters. You follow established SOPs, guidelines, standards, and templates, and actively contribute to the continuous improvement of processes, tools, and knowledge sharing within the discipline.
In addition, you are responsible for:
- Formally reviewing and approving schedules
- Supporting interdisciplinary teamwork
- Adhering to and promoting safety, quality, and behavioral guidelines
- Participating in project and team meetings
- Identifying risks, bottlenecks, and improvement opportunities
- Actively contributing to lessons learned and operational initiatives
- The work is carried out in the Leiden area, both in the office and (after completing the required safety instructions) on project sites.
Functie-eisen
- Confident and comfortable working in a dynamic environment, with at least 5 years of relevant experience as a Planner / Scheduler within projects.
- Proven experience with Primavera P6 and knowledge of MS Project.
- Based in the Netherlands, with a good command of English; Dutch is a plus.
- Experience working in dynamic project environments and in accordance with established procedures (SOPs, guidelines), combined with strong analytical, communication, commercial, and organizational skills.
- Demonstrable safety awareness, both in office environments and on project and construction sites.
