Wat ga je doen?
- Execute commissioning tasks offshore under supervision of the Commissioning Engineer.
- Assist with loop checks and troubleshooting.
- Support energization and functional testing of electrical panels and field instruments.
- Identify and report defects, non-conformities, and punch list items.
- Maintain accurate records of offshore test results and activities.
- Ensure proper use and handling of test equipment.
- Follow offshore safety procedures and participate in toolbox talks and permit-to-work processes.
- Support troubleshooting and rectification of E&I systems during commissioning.
- Collaborate with other technicians and disciplines to ensure smooth offshore execution.
- Demonstrate strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Functie-eisen
- Minimum MBO level 4 education in Electrical or Instrumentation Technology, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in projects and/or maintenance within a petrochemical environment.
- Basic knowledge of ICSS systems (ESD, F&G, SCADA, DCS).
- Basic knowledge of low voltage energy distribution including low voltage switchgear, motor control centers (MCCs), variable frequency drives (VFDs), and electric motors used in process applications.
- Basic knowledge of instrumentation, including pressure, temperature, flow, and level transmitters; control valves; on/off valves; actuators; switches; and valve positioners.
- Basic knowledge of fire & gas equipment, including gas, flame, smoke detectors, heat; manual call points.
- Basic knowledge of instrument signal types (e.g., HART, 4–20mA, 0–10V, 3–15 PSI, Foundation Fieldbus).
- Strong understanding of ATEX, IEC standards, and safety regulations.
- Skilled in using test equipment and interpreting basic technical drawings.
- Skilled in interpreting engineering drawings and technical documentation.
- Hands-on experience with loop checks, instrument calibration, and fault finding.
- Hands-on experience with energy distribution.
- Prior offshore experience is preferred.

- VCA Basis
- NOGEPA 0.5A/B or OPITO BOSIET including CA-EBS
- Offshore Medical Certification
- S-Cape Evacuation System
- Offshore Induction and Permit-to-Work Certificates (company-specific online modules)
- PSL Logbook
- Valid Passport (ID card not accepted)

- In het merendeel van de gevallen treed je bij Selectum in loondienst voor de duur van een project of voorafgaande aan indiensttreding bij onze klant. Voor loondienstverbanden bij Selectum vormt de ABU CAO en de toepassing van de inlenersbeloning (aan de hand van de arbeidsvoorwaarden van de klant) de basis Voor het pakket dat wij je kunnen bieden. Dit pakket is altijd marktconform.
- Wanneer een specifieke opdracht kan worden uitgevoerd door een ZZP-er, spreken wij een tarief af voor het zelfstandig uitvoeren van deze opdracht bij onze opdrachtgever. Hiervoor moet zowel de klant, de opdracht als de ZZP-er aan verschillende voorwaarden voldoen.
- In een aantal gevallen is onze klant op zoek naar een kandidaat voor de uitbreiding van haar eigen organisatie. In die gevallen wordt de arbeidsovereenkomst aangegaan met onze klant en zo ook de uiteindelijke arbeidsvoorwaarden (rechtstreeks) afgestemd.
