Candidate may have experience in leading a team of process engineers, in executing project and discipline related administrative responsibilities such as preparing and checking of work-hour estimates and schedules, and preferably in multi-office execution. Alternatively, candidate may have a breadth of expertise in process engineering or a specialized depth regarding a single area or multiple broader areas of specialty, technology, product, and systems.
Candidate shall have advanced knowledge of the principles and practices of process engineering. They shall be able to work autonomously, through the application of standard engineering practices, incorporate relevant regulations, codes, manufacturing standards, and industry standard practices for the development of deliverables. They can be empowered to make responsible decisions and assigned to control quality of produced documents.
They shall have a proficient level regarding the job responsibilities, like:
Preparing process descriptions, developing process flow diagrams and process control schemes, calculating and developing heat and mass balances, preparing process safeguarding flow diagrams and safeguarding memoranda, calculating and specifying process equipment, control valves, pressure relief valves, and generating instrument process data for flow, level, pressure and temperature measuring instruments, developing piping and instrumentation diagrams and line list, calculating system hydraulics and pipe diameters for one-phase and multiple-phase flows. Taking the lead in review sessions of process engineering deliverables. Participating in design review sessions such as HAZOP.
