Senior Piping Engineer (MEE005D) Meerssen Limburg

Senior Piping Engineer with lead engineer skills to work on a small and medium size projects.
The Senior Piping engineer is responsible for designing, coordinating, and managing all piping related aspects within our petrochemical projects (primarily brown field). You will be responsible for ensuring the integrity, efficiency and safety of the established design.

• Lead and coordinate pipeline design for petrochemical plants (mostly Brownfield).
• Preparation of technical specifications, drawings, and bills of material (MTO).
• Ensure compliance with technical standards and regulations within the project.
• Manage project budgets and schedules.
• Coordinating role within the project with respect to cooperation between the various disciplines.
• Supervision of junior piping engineers and transfer knowledge.
• Performing risk analyses and implementing appropriate security measures.

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering or similar engineering discipline.
• Strong experience in a lead engineer role within the Piping disipline.
• A proven engineering track record
• In-depth knowledge of required software packages (AutoCAD, E3D etc.).
• Familiarity with international standards such as EN, ASME, API, and ASTM.
• Experience with project management and leading teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience managing several engineers/designers.
• Excellent communication skills in English.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Willingness to travel when necessary for projects.
• Minimum 15 years’ experience in the (Petro-) chemical industry
• Construction support experience
• Knowledge of International rules and regulations
• English: Fluent in writing and speech
• Dutch is a pre
