Role Deliverables and Responsibilities
1. Process Operations
- Operate production equipment within the assigned area according to operational plans.
- Monitor progress, identify potential issues, and take corrective actions with approval from the Lead Process Operator.
- Ensure uninterrupted and efficient operations.
2. Equipment Control
- Inspect equipment conditions and perform system and safety checks on production equipment.
- Investigate and resolve unplanned issues in collaboration with the Lead Process Operator and Technicians.
- Maintain control over equipment to prevent hazardous situations.
3. Maintenance Support
- Isolate mechanical equipment following operational plans and coordinate with the Lead Process Operator and Technicians.
- Safely reintegrate equipment into production after maintenance is completed.
- Ensure maintenance activities are conducted in a secure and controlled environment.
4. General Lead Process Operator (LPO) Support
- Assist the Lead Process Operator with daily operational activities to ensure smooth process control.
- Serve as the deputy LPO during their absence to operate the process control system, ensuring continuous, safe, and efficient operation.
5. Laboratory Analysis
- Collect and record samples, conduct laboratory analyses according to standard procedures, and report findings.
- Monitor trends, provide feedback, and escalate issues to the Shift Supervisor and Lead Process Operator.
- Supply data on material quality and waste for further evaluation.
6. Health, Safety, Environment, Quality (HSEQ) and Competence Assurance
- Adhere to all HSEQ policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Promote HSEQ awareness within and outside the department.
- Participate in safety briefings, proactively address unsafe conditions, and contribute to accident and incident prevention.
- Join emergency response teams to ensure swift resolution of critical situations, safeguarding personnel and equipment.
- Complete assigned Units of Competence related to process operations and HSEQ compliance.
