Main duties & responsibilities

• Responsible for the implementation together with relevant stakeholders of maintenance strategies, ensuring they are effective, fit for purpose and subject to continuous review and improvement
• Advises and responsible for the Maintenance Policy, Standard and Process
• Advises on preventive and predictive maintenance activities for optimization
• Participate in root cause failure analysis on critical process equipment to determine equipment defects
• Improve all reliability aspects of the facility equipment, utilities, and maintenance activities, and reduce the potential of critical equipment failure
• Advises on development and improvement of Late Life Asset Maintenance Optimization Strategies
• Identify the Key Performance Indicators and assist QA Manager of Maintenance Systems in implementation and periodic review
• Serves as a technical resource to provide the training and guidance to allow the maintenance teams to successfully troubleshoot and repair unusual or difficult problems
• Improve equipment criticality assessment and preventative maintenance allocation in line with best practice
• Interrogate CMMS to review equipment performance to identify where Maintenance Strategy improvement opportunities exist
• Ensure that criticality and reliability studies (FMEA/RCM) are held, updated and taken into consideration
• Advices and coordinate execution of maintenance engineering to ensure proper integration of data, procedures in CMMS, with a focus on the spares parts identification and min/max stock definition
• Liaise closely with key vendors and contractors to ensure satisfactory level of service is continuously achieved
• Advises and assist QA maintenance planning and scheduling process 5yr,2yr, 1yr and maintenance schedule as required
• Advises and ensuring appropriate prioritisation of maintenance work
• Pro-actively identify opportunities for reduction in maintenance backlog
• Advises and provide input to maintenance budgeting and processes
• Manage Material Masters and liaise with Warehousing regarding Safety Stock, Slow Movers and the disposal process

• Higher relevant bachelor/university degree
• Minimum 10 years’ experience in maintenance activities within the oil & gas and/or petrochemical industry
• Thorough knowledge of the range of offshore Process and Utility equipment on an oil and gas processing facility
• In depth working knowledge of CMMS (Maximo preferred, but not essential)
• Strong HSE behaviours

• Strong team player with a confident leadership style
• Demonstrates commitment and actively seeks improvement opportunities
• Excellent communicator with all levels of the offshore and onshore teams; comfortable with written, spoken or electronic media
