Inspector (IWE) Rotterdam Zuid-Holland

As a mobile Inspector, you will be part of a team of dedicated technicians and independently visit assigned customers. Based on the international standard, you will assess whether newly built pressure equipment being introduced to the market complies with it. You will also verify the correct implementation of the quality control system with your customers. Inspecting and CE-certifying pressure equipment in accordance with the European Pressure Equipment Directive (PED) will be part of your duties. This ranges from individual devices to complete new installations at end users. In addition to inspection and assessment, you will be responsible for guiding welder qualifications and welding procedure qualifications and attending and assessing non-destructive (weld) material tests. You will also provide advice on welding techniques.

• Technical education at HBO level with a minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience in the design, manufacture, or inspection of pressure equipment
• IWE certified or diplomated with ambition to certify
• Knowledge of relevant standards and codes
• Good command of Dutch and English, both written and spoken
• Willingness to travel within the Netherlands
