For our client, we are looking for an HSE Advisor – OHS to be based in Hoofddorp.
As an HSE Advisor – OHS, you will be responsible for defining, implementing, and monitoring Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) requirements across all offices and facilities in the Netherlands, while also supporting foreign offices and facilities.
Your focus will be on four key areas:
- Corporate Offices
- Emergency Response (technology-driven)
- Projects and Advisory Services
- Training
You will maintain an adequate Emergency Response (HERO) organization at the Head Office and act as the primary contact for all OHS-related matters (Arbo Coordinator) for both internal and external parties.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting statutory Risk Assessments (RI&E) and developing Action Plans to mitigate identified risks.
- Managing the registration and reporting of accidents, incidents, near-misses, and observations.
- Conducting incident investigations when necessary.
- Coordinating and planning Emergency Response exercises and training to ensure team readiness.
- Maintaining and updating Emergency Response plans and procedures with timely follow-ups.
- Ensuring operational readiness of Emergency Response, including maintenance of emergency equipment.
- Providing guidance on healthy workspace assessments and acting as a Prevention Officer.
- Offering advisory services and delivering training, including preparation of training materials.
- Supporting internal OHS-related projects, such as permit applications and human factors/work environment assessments.
- Acting as an HSE representative for internal projects and providing regular reports on OHS, incident management, and HERO status to the Section Head of HSE.
You will be based in our Hoofddorp office but may occasionally be required to travel abroad (onshore and/or offshore) to locations such as our Aberdeen office, project sites, or vessels.
