Discipline Engineer is responsible for E&I maintenance activities within the support team. It includes responsibility for maintenance projects execution and support to the offshore organization. The discipline engineer drives continuous improvement. The role contributes to asset integrity and equipment/system reliability.
- Demonstrate HSE Leadership and contribute to Safety performance and Culture;
- Management and administration of the E&I support Maintenance team;
- Accountable for discipline deliverables required in the maintenance plan;
- Assumes responsibility for maintenance project planning execution (cost, schedule, material quantity and budget control (for discipline items);
- Verifies contractors work quality regarding specifications, reports, code application, submittal review, equipment selection, deliverables, and drawings;
- Carry out technical bid evaluations to ensure vendor compliance with material requisitions;
- Provide technical assistance in monitoring/optimizing equipment performance, in resolving E&I equipment operation and maintenance problems; contact internal and external experts as required;
- Deliver technical expertise and support to production operations;
- Initiation of modification projects and give technical expertise to modifications (follow up & close out);
- Responsible for the Spare Part program;
- Owner of Technical documentation and requirements within discipline;
- Monitor and support Company Representatives within discipline for selected service contracts;
- Competence development and performance management;
- Give Economic input to yearly maintenance budget process within discipline and Budget follow up;
- Input to resource requirements;
- Drives continuous improvement;
- Ensures effective management of change;
- Contributes to the IVB process;
- Act as “Onshore werkverantwoordelijke” in accordance with clients“NEN 3140 aanwijsbeleid”.
