Cost Analyst I (THE0140) Den Haag Zuid-Holland

Job requires basic knowledge regarding engineering cost management in the Netherlands.
Travelling outside of the Netherlands may be required on basis of business trips.

Main Responsibilities:

• Basis Cost control activities.
• Work together with the applicable project teams and support the cost control lead.
• Setting up the rules of credit for Engineering, procurement and contracts and construction.
• Translate Performance measures indicators into the project status.
• Confidently discuss the difference indicators and provide guidance on corrective actions.
• Analysis of cost and resource forecast based on CPI and productivity factor.
• Self assess project forecasting tolerances and promote improved controls during the Proejct life cycle.

• Education: Engineering/Construction background and Bachelor Degree.
• Certified DACE degree is considered to be as a plus.
• Experience in the Engineering contracting environment
• Strong knowledge of database systems and advanced Excel knowledge

• Working knowledge of the EDSR (Engineering Deliverable status report), Job card progress report, varify/self measure progress results and Earn value techniques.
• Understanding of reimbursable and lumpsum contract forecast
• Working knowledge of trend based forecast using productivity
• Understanding of the Man-hour process, Cost Rate and Cost, Sell Rate and revenue, Gross Margin and EBIT and Cash flow and Cost of Cash
• Understanding Intercompany arrangements
