This technically challenging project plays a key role in Europe&#8217;s energy transition.<\/p><\/div>\n\r\n<h2 class=\"cx_h2 cx2_function\">Wat ga je doen?<\/h2>\n<div class=\"cx2_function\"><p>As Senior Corrosion Engineer, you will provide specialist engineering expertise to ensure the integrity, reliability and long-term performance of pipeline systems and associated infrastructure:<\/p> <ul> <li>Develop and review corrosion control strategies for onshore and offshore pipelines.<\/li> <li>Assess internal and external corrosion risks, particularly for high-pressure CO\u2082 transportation systems.<\/li> <li>Provide technical expertise on material selection, corrosion allowances, coatings and cathodic protection.<\/li> <li>Review engineering specifications, corrosion assessments and pipeline integrity documentation.<\/li> <li>Ensure compliance with applicable international codes and standards.<\/li> <li>Work closely with pipeline, materials, process and integrity engineering teams and external contractors.<\/li> <\/ul><\/div>\n\r\n<h2 class=\"cx_h2 cx2_requirements\">Functie-eisen<\/h2>\n<div class=\"cx2_requirements\"><ul> <li>Bachelor&#8217;s or Master&#8217;s degree in Materials Engineering, Corrosion Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.<\/li> <li>Minimum 15 years of relevant experience, preferably 20+ years, in corrosion engineering for major pipeline projects.<\/li> <li>Extensive experience with onshore and offshore pipeline systems within Oil &amp; Gas, Energy or CCS projects.<\/li> <li>Strong knowledge of corrosion mechanisms, material selection, cathodic protection and pipeline integrity management.<\/li> <li>Familiarity with applicable ISO, NACE\/AMPP, DNV and pipeline engineering standards.<\/li> <li>Experience with CO\u2082 transportation and dense-phase CO\u2082 corrosion challenges is a strong advantage.<\/li> <li>Excellent English communication skills.<\/li> <li>Available for an interim assignment.<\/li> <li>Eligible and willing to work in the Netherlands.<\/li> <\/ul><\/div>\n\r\n<h2 class=\"cx_h2 cx2_offer\">Aanbod<\/h2>\n<div class=\"cx2_offer\"><p>Selectum brengt al meer dan 20 jaar opdrachtgevers en professionals bij elkaar in zowel tijdelijke als vaste arbeidsovereenkomsten. Voor loondienstverbanden bij Selectum vormt de ABU CAO en de toepassing van de inlenersbeloning (aan de hand van de arbeidsvoorwaarden van de klant) de basis Voor het pakket dat wij je kunnen bieden.
