You will take ownership of your engineering activities, working closely with the on-site engineering team, clients, contractors and other disciplines.<\/p> <p>Key responsibilities<\/p> <ul> <li>Develop HVAC and mechanical designs from concept and basic design through detailed engineering.<\/li> <li>Prepare and review calculations, equipment specifications, datasheets, P&amp;IDs, layouts and technical documentation.<\/li> <li>Design and coordinate HVAC systems, cleanrooms and mechanical utilities, including chilled water, heating water, steam and condensate.<\/li> <li>Coordinate designs with other disciplines using 3D\/BIM models.<\/li> <li>Conduct site surveys and provide technical support during construction, commissioning and handover.<\/li> <\/ul><\/div>\n\r\n<h2 class=\"cx_h2 cx2_requirements\">Functie-eisen<\/h2>\n<div class=\"cx2_requirements\"><ul> <li>Degree or equivalent qualification in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC or a related field.<\/li> <li>Minimum 8 years of relevant HVAC \/ Mechanical Engineering experience.<\/li> <li>Experience in pharmaceutical, life sciences or other regulated environments, preferably involving cleanrooms.<\/li> <li>Experience with both new installations and modifications to existing operational facilities.<\/li> <li>Strong technical knowledge of HVAC systems and associated mechanical utilities<\/li> <li>Experience with multidisciplinary engineering and BIM\/3D coordination.<\/li> <li>Good command of English.<\/li> <li>Valid VOL-VCA certificate or willingness to obtain one before starting site activities.<\/li> <\/ul> <p>MUST LIVE IN EUROPE &#8211; NO HSM OVER 30 YEARS due to scales<\/p> <p><br>Working arrangements<\/p> <ul> <li>Location: Primarily the Leiden office, with regular client-site visits as required.<\/li> <li>Office presence: Minimum 3 days per week in Leiden.<\/li> <\/ul><\/div>\n\r\n<h2 class=\"cx_h2 cx2_offer\">Aanbod<\/h2>\n<div class=\"cx2_offer\"><p>For over 20 years, Selectum has been bringing together clients and professionals for both temporary and permanent employment contracts. This package is always market competitive.<\/p> <p>When a specific assignment can be carried out by a self-employed professional (ZZP-er), we agree on a rate for the independent execution of the assignment at our client&rsquo;s site. In such cases, the client, the assignment, and the self-employed professional must all meet certain conditions.<\/p> <p>In some cases, our client is looking to expand their own organization.
