You will work at the interface of engineering and regulation, helping our client navigate complex permitting landscapes while enabling efficient, compliant, and sustainable project delivery.&nbsp;<\/p> <ul> <li>Lead regulatory compliance, permitting and environmental activities across multidisciplinary engineering projects<\/li> <li>Integrate permitting requirements into early design phases (concept, FEED, detailed design) to avoid late-stage risks<\/li> <li>Manage and coordinate Dutch environmental permitting processes, including authority engagement.<\/li> <\/ul> <p>Furthermore, you will provide expertise on:<\/p> <ul> <li>Environmental regulations and compliance<\/li> <li>Emissions to air, soil, and water<\/li> <li>EIA (Environmental Impact Assessment) deliverables<\/li> <li>BAT\/BREF and regulatory frameworks<\/li> <li>Act as the key interface between engineering teams, clients, and regulatory authorities<\/li> <li>Identify permitting risks early and implement practical, cost-effective solutions<\/li> <li>Support project delivery by managing scope, schedule, and budgets for your discipline<\/li> <li>Contribute to continuous improvement by applying innovative tools, methods, and digital solutions.&nbsp;<\/li> <\/ul><\/div>\n\r\n<h2 class=\"cx_h2 cx2_requirements\">Functie-eisen<\/h2>\n<div class=\"cx2_requirements\"><ul> <li>A Bachelor&rsquo;s or Master&rsquo;s degree in Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related discipline<\/li> <li>Strong experience in regulatory compliance, permitting, or Safety Engineering, preferably in the (petro-)chemical or industrial sector<\/li> <li>Solid knowledge of:<\/li> <li>Dutch permitting frameworks (e.g. Omgevingswet, Activiteitenbesluit)<\/li> <li>PGS guidelines and environmental legislation<\/li> <li>EIA processes and environmental assessments<\/li> <li>Experience embedding regulatory requirements into engineering design processes<\/li> <li>Ability to work independently and collaboratively in multidisciplinary and international teams<\/li> <li>Excellent communication skills in Dutch and English<\/li> <\/ul><\/div>\n\r\n<h2 class=\"cx_h2 cx2_offer\">Aanbod<\/h2>\n<div class=\"cx2_offer\"><p>Selectum brengt al meer dan 20 jaar opdrachtgevers en professionals bij elkaar in zowel tijdelijke als vaste arbeidsovereenkomsten. Dit pakket is altijd marktconform.&nbsp;<\/li> <li>Wanneer een specifieke opdracht kan worden uitgevoerd door een ZZP-er, spreken wij een tarief af voor het zelfstandig uitvoeren van deze opdracht bij onze opdrachtgever.
