Wat ga je doen?

Our client is seeking an experienced Sourcing CAPEX Buyer to support the procurement and contracting of major capital investment projects. In this role, you will be responsible for executing sourcing strategies, managing tender processes, evaluating supplier proposals, and negotiating commercial and contractual terms for engineering, construction, equipment supply, and industrial services. You will work closely with Project Managers, Engineers, Legal Counsel, Category Managers, and key suppliers to ensure projects are procured competitively, contractual risks are effectively managed, and procurement activities contribute to successful project delivery. The role requires a strong commercial mindset, the ability to operate independently, and the confidence to challenge and influence stakeholders across all levels of the organization.

Functie-eisen

University of Applied Sciences or University-level (BSc or MSc) thinking and working level, preferably with a Procurement, Commercial, Engineering, Construction, or Project Management background.
Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in Procurement, Commercial Management, Contract Law, Supplier Markets, and major CAPEX projects.
Demonstrated experience managing sourcing and contracting activities for large and complex industrial investment projects.
Strong knowledge of Dutch and international contractor markets.
Experience with construction and engineering contracts, including UAV, NEC and/or FIDIC.
Proficient in commercial analysis, technical cost drivers, continuous improvement, and contract risk management.
Fluent in English; Dutch language is an advantage.

In het merendeel van de gevallen treed je bij Selectum in loondienst voor de duur van een project of voorafgaande aan indiensttreding bij onze klant. Voor loondienstverbanden bij Selectum vormt de ABU CAO en de toepassing van de inlenersbeloning (aan de hand van de arbeidsvoorwaarden van de klant) de basis Voor het pakket dat wij je kunnen bieden. Dit pakket is altijd marktconform.
Wanneer een specifieke opdracht kan worden uitgevoerd door een ZZP-er, spreken wij een tarief af voor het zelfstandig uitvoeren van deze opdracht bij onze opdrachtgever. Hiervoor moet zowel de klant, de opdracht als de ZZP-er aan verschillende voorwaarden voldoen.
In een aantal gevallen is onze klant op zoek naar een kandidaat voor de uitbreiding van haar eigen organisatie. In die gevallen wordt de arbeidsovereenkomst aangegaan met onze klant en zo ook de uiteindelijke arbeidsvoorwaarden (rechtstreeks) afgestemd.
